May 20th 2012

My morning playtime.

This morning, I pulled from my Oracles first. I got The Sun, Appreciation, Unity, and The Pink Lotus Fairy: A Time For Spirit.

Things have been so great lately. I feel like I am shining!!! I am so happy. All the hard work I have been doing has been paying off big time!!! I feel connected, I feel happy being with myself, I appreciate everything in my life and Im excited to see more and more unfold!

My three card spread for the morning (I would say day, but I know that isnt true since I cant help but play with cards all day long) has King of Wands: Gift of Glory, King of Water: Gift of Wisdom, and Death.

Again, Death is still coming to me to tell me there is still some work to do to continue to weed out old habits and patterns. Allowing old things to die away is getting easier and easier as I make space for more enriching things to take their place.

Today, I allow Death to take from me whatever it pleases. I open myself up and slightly detach from the familiar things I normally cling to. I offer up myself to be cleansed of any ickies that I unkowingly cling to that no longer serve me.

The Sun: The spotlight is on you. The magnificent golden rays of the Sun are all powerful, and your energies abound. You hold the abilities to achieve your ambitions in the palm of your hand, radiating brightness and light wherever you are. Dreams come true. With a renewed sense of self-worth and growth in all areas, recognize you are blessed by this life force energy. "Expect a Miracle!!!"

Appreciation: Remember to say thank you to everything.

You are very fortunate and are very grateful for the many blessings in your life. You are especially grateful for the love, honesty, and support of the people around you.

Consider this: Your family and friends are thankful they have YOU in their lives. You are important to so many. Let this thought be a touchstone today and act accordingly.

Unity: When this card comes up in a reading, it is asking you us to remember the mystical concept that we are all one, unified in a holistic universe. This Fairy speaks about connecting with others... to work with others for everyone's highest good.

Pink Lotus Fairy: Be Still, and Know that I AM. As of lately I feel like I am in the eye of the tornado. I am more in control of myself than ever before. Nothing outside of myself determines my happiness. I am overflowing with happiness... enough to share with others.

I got such wonderful cards this morning... but the Death is coming in... so I want to know more about this Death that I need to work with. I want to ask my cards, "What can I do to allow Death to work quickly and swiftly?"

Now... which deck which deck.... Wheel of the Year.

This is the message I needed to hear. Resist bad feelings, dont be tempted by harmful thoughts... BE HAPPY!!! Be happy and share it. Expect it! Then Death will not be a struggle... things that do not make me happy will no longer be a focus and die away... they will go back where they came from.

Ahhhhhh. Tarot. Okay Im ready to start my day. Bring it on.

Commitment to Blog More

I am lucky to have very great friends in my life. They have supported me through my Tarot obsession... they have even enabled me. Just yesterday I got a surprise in the mail. The Ancestral Path Tarot. I've researched the deck and the cheapest I found it was $150.00. I think this is the most meaningful present I have ever received. Because of this, I have been inspired to take my work to another level by being more active on my blog. I will need some time to get to know this particular deck so I will just go with what I am comfortable with for now.

I decided to start with my Oracle of Shadows and Light.

I pulled the Witch at the End of the World: An important end, a new beginning.

"When you pull this card you will know that something's time has come. We are aboutto experience a change and it is for the better."

The description describes moving from the Fourth dimension to the Fifth dimension. This message to me is more loud and clear since I have just received the Fifth Tarot the other day. This Tarot restores the Fifth Element Ether in the Tarot. It is a guide to overcoming duality and embracing both the shadows and light.

The Witch at the End of the World is telling me that it is time. The end of the world as I know it is coming to and end. I have put in the hard work and now I am seeing the returns. I am about to fully embrace the Fifth dimension.

So, in honor of this card, I will draw a card from my Fifth Tarot.

Six of Feathers:

"The power of the mind to influence our destiny, while felt with the heart, are created in the mind. We leave behind any remnants of negativity and opt for the most positive outlook forthe future. This card asks us to shift our focus away from old thought patterns and say good-bye tothe drama we create ijnj our minds. When we are successful, we are free to create a new story with a new ending, one that manifests the optimal outcome and experience.

The peacock feathers create a line between the real and the unreal. It is up to us how we perceive it. The rocks at the bottom represent a firm foundation of positive thinking."

This is what moving to the Fifth dimension is all about. It's about using our tools and resources in a healthy positive way. To use our imaginations and passions to make our world more alive around us.

I have always been one for an overactive imagination. But in my eyes, it has enriched my life. It has made the colors of the world more vibrant. What you might believe to be unreal is part of my everyday world. The more I believe, the more the world responds to that belief and makes it more and more "real".

Now I would like to pull three cards from my Wheel of the Year Tarot to see what my day looks like.

Of course, the Death card and the Witch at the End of the World are really driving the point home that I need to fully embrace the new world trying to come in by allowing old habits and patterns to die away. This new idea of taking my work the next level gives me the firey inspirational feeling of the King of Wands. I want to share my passions with all who can benefit from them.

I can't even begin to tell you how much Tarot means to me and what it has taught me and how I have used it in my life. Hopefully, by me being more active on my blog, the opportunity to do so will present itself.

Thank you all who support me... it means so much to me. Hopefully one day... I will dream up a big adventure with Tarot and I will take you all with me.

Hope

I would want to make a Star card out of this.

Hope... from Pandora's Box. "What is Hope doing in Pandora's box of Evils? Hope is an evil because Hope allows you to act with a sense that you can control the future. To act under a delusion." Christina Sorum.

My Break From Tarot

I have been kinda down and out with the Tarot lately. A few weeks ago I visited a rock shop where I overheard a lady talking to the shop owner about how, "she couldn't be the High Priestess of the group anymore because of all the fakers." But she defended that she is still a High Priestess but is being called to leave.

As I looked over the stones I couldn't help but think, "Do I sound like that?"

I got into Tarot because I wanted to help people. I wanted to be a counselor. Between my Epilepsy and ADHD Tarot gave me all the ins without all the bullshit. I have no short term memory and I space out a lot. School was hard. The Occult was the loophole I needed. Spiritual guidance. No diploma necessary. I was just really good because I had tools. My hat is wide and deep.

I studied Psychology, Counseling, and Energy Healing on my own time. With it came more knowledge than I would have ever imagined. Quantum Physics, History, Evolution, Poetry and Art came along with it.

Mysticism. Nothing has meaning unless you assign it some. The word Mysticism in itself is a rabbit hole just in definition alone.

Websters has one definition: A belief in the existence of realities beyond perceptual or intellectual apprehension that are central to being and directly accessible by subjective experience.

It sure takes the Whoo wooo out of it all when you read it like that doesnt it?

The cards are a navigation through the Subconscious mind. Waters that are fearfully tread. They are the map.

A few days after my visit to the rock shop I woke up and did my regular day creating routine. My daily spreads help prepare me for the Energy and Karma for the day. I was using my new Wildwood Deck I just bought. Three cards came up: The Tower, Three of Swords, and a card named "Mourning".

Upon first glance I didn't want to believe it. I denied it. No way could today be THAT bad of a day. I figured I could think my way out of it and expect the best and it would go away. Nope. It was that kind of day. A phone call was received a few hours after the cards were laid and my Aunt had finally passed. She had been sick for a while.

I was mad at the cards. Not mad per say. Just frustrated with them. They had come into my life and harassed me for over 4 years. Everyday, Every minute, every breath I had been living, eating, sleeping Tarot. I was married to Tarot. I considered it in every move I made; every thought I had... with every sense I owned.

I had committed myself to this for reasons to this day I still cannot understand. Now that day the cards warned me. Even though I had denied the cards and went on my marry way, the moment I was told of the news the first thing I thought was... Oh that's what the cards meant.

The Cards. The damn cards.

No wonder why so many think you are evil. What a tool. To pin consciousness on a cross. To locate consciousness in time and space.

I took a long break from Tarot. I still drew my daily spreads... but my heart wasn't in it. I withdrew from the relationship. Today I drew a card from my Dream Cards. I got Bridge.

It was comforting. I have no idea where I'm going but at least I know I am on the right path. My home is still a dream... but I can see it... it is coming into focus. It is materializing. Its been a long road.

I am about to enter into the world of the unknown. The Subconscious mind to get what I want. The Bridge is there to move back and forth. Humans are evolving. Our brains are changing. Dormant things are being awakened.

I went to an Antique mall and saw a white porcelain head with black markings all over it to teach a class about the functions of the brain. I held it in my hands and rolled it left to right. The one side filled with markings. Rational choices. Thinking controlling. The other side.... nothing. Uncharted territory.

Not for long.

Wrench

A wrench technically isn't a wrench until it is put to use... until then it is only a concept.

Law of Attraction Tarot

I can always tell when I have resonated with a deck. It's when I can get a full reading from them for myself. All the cards make speak to me in their positions to create a whole picture. This spread was the one.

This spread is a modified Celtic Cross. It has recently been working very well for me. Right off the bat I see this beautiful lady walking confidently and the Professor that immediately make me think of me and my husband. The places we both are trying to achieve. Can I just say I think we are both doing a fabulous job doing this.

I've been pulling Death, Tower, and Judgement a lot the last two days. Death maybe two days ago. Tower yesterday. Amazing though it wasn't the whole dramatic show I think one expects in these cards. I am now at a level where I can get out of the house and watch it burn and die.

I particularly liked the Seven of Cups from my spread. It's reflections radiate not only on the hand but on the surrounding environment as well.

As we see here:

It states to me: "You're probably a hedonist wihout complexes, and thus refuse the appeals of society, only pretending to conform and only if you feel like it."

Yup that's me. And that is also me up in the Top Left snoking away in worry. Worry, Worry, Worry those were yesterday's worries workingthemselves out today.
Love this deck.
